The Best of All 4-H club participated in the Central Illinois Chapter of the Links, Incorporated National Poster Art Contest from February 11 through March 10. The Poster Art Contest is called project Walking Fete, which celebrates walking, physical activity, health, and wellness. The contest is designed for children in grades 1-12. This year's theme is Stepping Out.
There were 10 4-H participants from grades 1-6. The Central Illinois Chapter of the Links awarded certificates of participation to the following 4-H members: Sarrah Walters, Brianna Deal, Akasha Jackson, Keyona Smith, Justice Slayton, Almond Slayton, Amiyla Bonds, Quincy Watts, Antoine Deal, Shaniya Jackson and Jasmine Anderson. The winner was Akasha Jackson, a 6 grader who attends Bloomington Junior High School. She was awarded a first place certificate and a $25.00 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble.
